The joint-stock company "BRK-Leasing" is a subsidiary of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and is a member of the National Holding Company "Baiterek". The company was established on September 6, 2005 in order to expand the financial instruments for investment projects provided by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Strategy of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The only founder of JSC "DBK-Leasing" is JSC "Development Bank of Kazakhstan". Dynamically growing charter capital of JSC "BRK-Leasing"currently amounts to 22 billion tenge.
The Development Bank, using its capabilities and high credit rating, helps attract borrowed capital for a subsidiary leasing company on the same terms as for itself. This explains the low interest rates, long term financing and other extremely favorable conditions.
Unlike commercial leasing companies, "BRK-Leasing" is not focused on making a profit, but investing in large-scale projects corresponding to the strategy of industrial and innovative development of the Republic. Priority sectors of the economy are production, manufacturing and transport infrastructures. The key activity of "BRK-Leasing" is the implementation of breakthrough projects of international importance; Projects that form chains of technologically related industries that produce products with high added value, promising entry of Kazakhstan producers to world markets.
